Be You supports continuous improvement and can guide and strengthen practice across the Quality Areas of the National Quality Standard.
Participating in Be You is not extra work, but a great way to support your quality improvement process.
What Be You resources can I use?
We have recently developed a Be You and the National Quality Standard video series featuring voices from the early learning sector. The videos feature sector experts Rhonda Livingston and Jennifer Cartmel, Be You Consultants and educators who are participating in Be You.
Each of the seven videos explores the connections between a Quality Area of the NQS and Be You, offering insights and ideas about using Be You to support your quality improvement process.
If you have an area you’d like to prioritise, want an overview of Be You or want to see how Be You can be implemented, explore one or all of these videos.
Additionally, pages 12 – 14 of the Be You resource Planning for Wellbeing: mine, yours, ours can also support embedding wellbeing into your Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
How can I use the videos?
You can use them to launch professional conversations in staff meetings, you can watch them on your own as a complement to your professional learning, leaders can use them to support planning and you can even share them with families.
There is no wrong way to use our Be You and the National Quality Standard video series.
What to do next if you’re feeling inspired?
If you would like support embedding Be You in your QIP or understanding which resource can help you address a particular Quality Area, reach out to our Consultants. You can do this in a Be You Conversation. We also have specific Spotlight sessions dedicated to QIPs.
We look forward to connecting with you online.
